Tone and Mood of "Big Yellow Taxi" and " Field Below"

When author's write pieces of writing the always make a purpose for writing. I feel like the author's purpose for writing the poems "Big Yellow Taxi" and "Field Below" was to inform the reader that you don't know what you have until it's gone or that you should respect what you have because one day it might be taken from you. The tone of "Big Yellow Taxi" is respectful and grateful. I think this because she loves nature and was thankful for the time that she had with nature. When I read this poem the mood was sad and sympathy. But I think that the tone of "Field Below" is sad and heartbroken. But I also feel like the tone was sorrow and sadness.

The difference between the mood and tone in the two poems were different in the songs because in "Big Yellow Taxi" when you are reading the poem it seems sad but when you are listening to it the tempo is fast and the person singing it seems very happy. But in " Field Below" the tempo is very slow and the tone of voice in the musicians voice is sad. Just like in the poem. I think that this shows that even though the poem might be sad and glumly doesn't mean that the song can't have a fast happy tempo. I feel like "Big Yellow Taxi" should have had a slower tempo but it means that the author was ok with it being faster which she is then alright with the problem that she was/ is going through. But in " Field Below" I felt like the tempo and tone of voice fit the poem very well and it's what I thought it would sound like.
