Jenna’s Point of View

Author’s Note: This piece of writing is about Jenna’s point of view compared from Mrs.Gladstone’s. This is also going to be used for my creative piece for the book Rules of the Road.

Dear Mrs.Gladstone,
I just wanted to tell you that I feel so bad for telling you to get your hip surgery. Although you needed it, I know you were in a lot of pain. I hated to see you like that. When your son came in the day before you have your surgery he wanted to talk to you about the shoe store, I knew it wouldn’t be a good idea so I told him that you weren’t able to talk to anyone that day. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner but at least now you know.

When you were in the hospital I think that my point of view was completely different than yours. The reason why I say this is because when you were lying there in the bed you didn’t have to see yourself laying in the bed almost in tears all the time because of your pain. It killed me inside. I’m sorry for making the decision for them to give you the hip surgery but I couldn’t stand to see you in that much pain any longer. But I’m glad that you made a full recovery and you could continue with your life not being in pain.

Even though you didn’t have the same point of view as I did I’m sure if you were in mine you would have made the same decisions for me as I did for you. Or at least I would hope that you would. You are the best boss I have ever had and we have been through so much together. I’m glad that you’re not only my boss but you’re also my friend. I hope you continue with your strong healthy life and we will continue our journey together.

Your loving caring employee,
Jenna
