Yes, I am proud of my country because we have more freedom then other countries do. We have something called freedom of speech. That means that if we have a different opinion about something we can speak our minds. Unlike other countries when if you speak your mind you could possibly be put into jail, which I think is terrible. Just because you think a different way doesn’t mean you need to be put into jail. I’m sure there are other people that think that way as well but just don’t have the guts to say anything about it.
Even though I am proud of my country there are also some things that I am not so proud of. Some of those things would be that because we as a country are in dept and can’t pay the people that work. So, those people had to get laid off. This isn’t a good thing because those people could have a family that they need to feed and have a stable home for. Another thing that I am not proud of would be that if we don’t have supplies that we need we have to barrow from other countries. If it weren’t for the law I’m sure we would be bombed right away because of how many things we need to barrow.
