7th Grade

This year I am in 7th grade, and I am now in middle school. Going into middle is a step up in life. Teachers now give you more freedom and you get to switch classes. I like switching classes because you then get to spend time with all of your different friends. All though this year I don't have any classes with my best friend, Nicole. One more thing that I don't like is that when you have B lunch it seems like you are eating at 2pm but your really not. It seems like this because you go to lunch and then a class then resource and then you go home . Other wise I like 7th grade way better then 6th grade!
Last year in 6th grade you would stay in your class all day with the teacher. Sometimes you would switch classes for when you had math but those chances weren't every good! Our teachers were very clear when things were due and when they should be in there hand to be graded. Last year if you didn't do your homework you had to stay in for recess. Lots of kids everyday were in a class doing homework then. But some kids just didn't want to go outside when it got cold out. Last year I never had a working recess.

Madi's Hair

Madi is one of my best friends. She has light blonde hair. Her hair is very curly and looks like she gets a purm everyday. Everyone on our basketball team loves when she runs because her hair bounces up and down. And it looks kind of funny. When I was little I wanted curly hair but I don't anymore. I love Madi's hair and I can't wait to see when she gets it cut. She always says that she loves her hair and would never die it. Her hair color is a very rare color to see. In gym when she runs it bounces up and down. I think it so funny! Before our basketball games we do each other's hair and we put Madi's hair up into a high pony! It looks so cute! When she walks by me I always pat her pony if she has one in!

Mary Poppins

What would you do if your children miss behaved all the time? If I were in this place I would try to get them help. The Story Mary Poppins by, P.L. Travers is highly unrealistic and it is a romance. In the short story Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins arrives and the children learn to behave better.


Besides the fact that the children being terrible, the family sitter has left them. She left from the kids being bad. So, their father, Mr.Banks chooses to hold a day where people could come in and see if they worked well with the children. Mary Poppins was chosen to be the nanny. She showed them to clean up after themselves just by a snap of a finger. The children now have a fun way to clean, and won’t give the parents any more stress.


The story is totally unrealistic. Mary Poppins takes the children for a walk in the park and jumps into a painting. Inside of the painting Mary, the kids, and Bert are singing and dancing with talking pigs and other animals. The plot line of the story was romance. In the movie there were tons of bright colors. The children then want Mary Poppins to stay to be their nanny. Mary Poppins learns to take control and keep the children.


Symbolism in the story follows the plot line of romance. There are fall colors like, Red, Orange, and Greens. When they take the trip into the painting they see doves, and horses. Those animals helped follow the plot line of romance. The painting is created with pastel colors. This means bright and dull colors. Theses colors represent the season of fall or autumn.


If you haven’t seen Mary Poppins I would recommend that you see it. The story may be cheesy at times but follows the plot line of romance very well. Even though there is a mean dad and miss behaved children the story is well written. So, in the short story Marry Poppins the story is highly unrealistic but the children learn to behave better.

I am out of texts

Every month I get 1,000 texts. I have unlimited but my parents only let me text 1,000. Which sucks for me.I could use up all 1,000 in a week if I really wanted to! My texts start over on the 4rd of every month. So that means that I can start over on them in 2 days! I can't wait! usually I send over 300 texts to two people. My parents say that is to much though. They say if I can show them if I can handle 1,000 that I can text as much as I want to next year! I am so happy because all of my friends parents don't care how they text! I wish that my parents were like that. I can't wait until I can text again

Christmas

This year My family and I are hosting Christmas and Christmas Eve at my house. We have all of our family come over. I am going to try to let my parents let me have a Christmas party at my house after my basement is done being remodeled. I can't wait for that to be done. That is some of my Christmas present too. During the season Usually I am happy around friends and such but then when my aunt and uncle start talking about family i get sad. The reason for that is because 5 years ago this year my dad got robed, shot, and killed. I was only 8 when that happened so I don't really remember anything about him. I really wish I did though. I miss him so much. Also a month after he passed away I got taken away from my mom. But I won't say why. Any way back to the fun stuff about Christmas. We are going to be making tons and tons of cookies this year to give to people that can't make them. We are doing this through out church. Every Christmas Eve we go to a 11pm service at church. It fun because we get to hold burning canals. Last year my Grandpa fell asleep while hold it and almost started him self on fire. That would have been funny. But thankfully I woke him up before he dropped it. This so going to be a interesting Christmas and I can't wait to see what happens this year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Windy Day on Christmas

It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. He was coming back from the navy to visit his family for Christmas. Air flights were too much money for him though. When he was going to arrive the bus stopped and shut down and the doors wouldn’t open. He thought it was then going to be the worst Christmas ever. But then he got a call from his family, and it was good news that they were going to delay the family get together until the next day.

The next day came around and the train had gotten started and all the passengers got out. Then Ted called his parents to let them know that he had gotten off and they could come and pick him up. When the parents got there they were so joyful that their son came to see them. When they took Ted home all the family was in the family room waiting for him to arrive. He was getting hugs and kisses from everyone. Then his little sister Kim said,” ok time to open presents!” Ted said ok but I have a special present for all of you. Next, the Kim separated all the presents by person and they each opened them 1 by 1 going around the circle. Ted thought that this was the best Christmas that he had ever had!

After Christmas He had to go back to the navy. So Ted got dropped off at the bus station. The drive back would be almost 17 hours so Ted's mom packed him some stuff to do. when he got back he then at that time realized that he loved his family ever more then he thought.

I am a HUGE fan of Justin Bieber. I have 111 posters in my room and I'm not even joking. My sisiin(half sister half cousin) and bruisn(half brother half cousin) think that it's weird because where ever you are in my room he is looking at you. So that is a good way that I keep them out of my room. I have not gone to one of his concerts because I had to go to church camp when he came to WI. But my uncle's friend was 10 feet away from him and got me 2 pictures and a video of him too. And still up until this day I thank him every time that I see him.

My dog Dexter is a jack Russel terrier. He is 14 and had diabetes. He is dying. Which is very sad. He is blind and trips over everything. And cant see where the door is and runs into the side of the house! It's funny but sad. He no longer can go upstairs .He also gets trapped under the car because he doesn't know where he is going because he can't see.

I went to Mexico last year. We went in the ocean everyday because we love to jump the waves. One day the waves were to high that my uncle how is 6 foot 3 inches could even jump them! My cousin Matt got swept all the way back to shore. It was really funny because we didn't know where he went. My aunt was standing on shore and a huge wave came and she got taken down! It was so funny. Everyone still gives her a hard time about it. I think I found it the most funny though! Mexico was amazing. I love everything about it but getting all full of sand and seaweed! I hate the feel of wet sand on me so when ever I go to the beach I go home and I take a shower right away. Mexico was the most amazing trip that I have ever been on.

Subjects

In school the subjects that I don't like at all are Spanish and science. The reason that I don't like them is that I'm not very good at either of them and also i don't like the teachers that teach them. Today I have a test in both of the subjects and I hope that I do well because I studied almost an hour on each last night. So I hope that it pays off! My tech in Spanish is nice but a little weird for my type. And for science she is new so people like her but got a opinion on her really fast. The opinion isn't the best either. But I think that she is nice but gives us way to much homework.

Halloween Dance

Today is the Halloween Dance and I am so excited to hang out with friends! Most girls are going to be gangsters. But me and my friend Nicole wanted to be different so She is going as a devil and I am going as an Angle. The dance is from 7pm to 9pm. Almost all of my friends are going to I thought that I would go also. Someone else that is going is dressing up as a hippy. I went as that in 5th grade. I think that the dance will be fun but this time I hope that all the boys don't go and play basketball in the gym this time! Because they are really just paying $5 to go and play basketball. The dance is going to be so much fun.

School Basketball

School basketball just started last week and today is our first game of the year. We got our jerseys yesterday and I'm number 14. I wanted to be 20 but Abby took it instead. We have 3 plays that we just learned but i don't really get any of them but I try my best. They split up the teams so they are somewhat even and we all think that the teams this year is totally even. The people on out team are Nicole, Me, Madi, Jennie, Abby, Hannah, Courtney, Jessie, Ashley, Taylor, Dani, Carson, and Katie.We are all can't wait for our first game! We are leaving early from school to go and play Slinger. Everyone on the team cheers on out team mates. Sometimes if we don't cheer them on we have to run extra sprints! Which sucks. Basketball is fun and I hope both teams win their first games! Good luck everyone!!!!!

“Does Patriotism still matter?”
Does patriotism still matter? In my opinion patriotism still matters. The reason for that is if you love your country you usually will do something for it. Like help out places, go in the navy, military, or air force. My family loves our country and used to be in the war, navy, and military. Patriotism still matters because that’s how we show that we love our country.
When someone in your family goes into the war, army, and or navy your family will always worry about their safety. Because your family loves them so much they worry about their safety because they don’t want to lose him/her. When they go away they will realize how much that you love your family. When you go into something like a war because you want to show how much you love your country.
Going into the war usually means some type of fighting. You should always be loyal while being in war or army of some sort. If you want to go into the war usually you want to because you care and love where you live, and where you call home. You may be afraid but when you get out there you’re probably not going to be afraid because you love your country. Patriotism still matters because that’s how we show that we love our country.
Usually in your country you wear some type of colors on a day of the year. Foe the United States it’s the colors red, white and blue. We wear these colors on the 4th of July. We wear these to show that we are proud of your country. We show pride by doing this. Patriotism still matters because that’s how we show that we love our country. The place that we call home .
People in the United States should care about their country. That doesn’t mean that you have to be in the war or navy of some sort but u still love where you live. If people go into something it’s usually because other people in their family have gone into something like that before. Patriotism still matters because that is how we show that we truly love our country and where we live.
